Battle Creek with TVCC

Mark Jordan, Caleb Jordan, and Don Deakins joined Tennessee Valley Canoe Club for an approximate 6.7 mile kayak trip on Battle Creek in South Pittsburg. After launching at South Pittsburg Municipal Park adjacent to Shelby Reinhart Bridge, we paddled about 750 feet up Tennessee River before entering the creek. Battle Creek was calm with no discernible current so paddling was as easy upstream as downstream. Thanks to TVCC for a fun day on the water.
