Deep Creek Maintenance

George Bonneau, Mickey Hogsed, Bob DeHart, TC Varner, and Don Deakins hiked into Soddy Gorge with chain saw and fire rakes in hand to perform maintenance on the trail between Deep Creek and Big Soddy Creek. Fortunately we were able to boulder hop across Deep Creek without having to wade in the very cold water. We removed three major trail obstructions, raked leaves from numerous rock steps, and cleaned all drainage paths across the trail. This section is now in prime condition.
