Caroline Woerner, Bob DeHart, Keith Weller, TC Varner, Carol Deakins, and Don Deakins turned out for today's maintenance hike with a goal of completing the work we started on Tuesday. Our task consisted of rerouting the trail around an uprooted stump which destroyed the trail when the tree blew over. This work required many rocks and fortunately, many were available. We spent the first 30 minutes rolling rocks down to the work site from the hill above the trail. Then we began piecing the steps together producing results we were all proud of. We can now report that the trail between Leggett Road upper trail head and Leggett Branch is in good condition.
