Collect Map Data

Trail construction on the Graysville Mountain section stopped short of Highway 30 until a small piece of property along the highway can be obtained. Even if the trail is not complete, the Graysville Mountain map needs to be updated. We took our measuring wheel and GPS devices to Fort Bluff, hiked down to the new trail and collected the data needed. Our wheel revealed 4825 feet of new trail was added this month which makes the total length of Graysville Mountain segment about 8.66 miles.

BreakAway 2017

BreakAway is moving along at a fast pace. Trucks on highway 30 are within earshot. In a day or two, the trail will cross Sale Creek which is just a tiny stream at this point. Looks like McGill Creek segment will get some attention during BreakAway.
